The terms that apply when you use this website, register for our events or make a donation.

1. Acceptance

This website is operated by the Australian Islamic Network (ABN 71 390 881 072) ("AIN", "we", "us"). By using this website, registering for an event or making a donation, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Using this website

You agree to use this website lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

  • post or send anything that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory or that promotes hatred or violence;
  • attempt to interfere with the website's security or operation;
  • use the website to send spam or collect other people's information;
  • misrepresent your identity or your connection with AIN.

3. Our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, logos (including the AIN and ICON logos), images and other materials on this website belong to AIN or are used with permission. You may view, share and print content for personal, non-commercial and educational purposes, provided you credit AIN. Please contact us before using our logos or content for any other purpose.

Religious and educational material on this site is provided for general information. For personal religious rulings, please consult a qualified scholar.

4. Events & programs

  • Event details (dates, times, venues and speakers) may change. We will update the Events page and notify registered attendees where possible.
  • Attendees are expected to respect the venue, other attendees and the etiquette of any masjid or community space.
  • Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian unless the event is a supervised youth program.
  • Photos or video may be taken at events. See our Privacy policy for how we handle them and how to opt out.
  • We may refuse entry to, or ask to leave, anyone whose behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.

5. Donations

  • Donations are voluntary and support AIN's community programs, education, advocacy and operations.
  • Payments are processed securely by our website platform and its payment partners. AIN does not store your card details.
  • Recurring donations can be changed or cancelled at any time by contacting us.
  • Unless we state otherwise, donations to AIN are not tax-deductible.
  • If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 14 days and we will review your request. Refunds are at AIN's discretion and may not be possible once funds have been allocated.

This website may link to other websites and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

7. Disclaimer & liability

We work to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be complete, current or free from errors or interruption. To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, AIN is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will always be on this page.
